Brown Fused Alumina
Brown corundum has been widely used in the sandblasting industry due to its high hardness, good toughness, high density, and no harmful substances.
Compared with traditional sandblasting media, brown corundum is non-toxic and harmless. Does not contain harmful substances such as silicosis, toxic heavy metals or radioactive contaminants. High-speed brown corundum particles hit the surface of sharp objects under a certain pressure, so it is considered a very fast sandblasting method. The unique particle size of brown corundum can ensure that the particles reach a larger stress area when they hit the surface of the object, thereby reducing abrasive wear. Due to the larger proportion of brown corundum, there is less dust during surface sandblasting. This ensures the health and safety of operators. The surface-treated brown corundum can penetrate holes and pits on the metal surface and reach the bare metal surface during the spraying process. In addition, brown corundum has a long service life and better recyclability.
